Viana, as a company, all the way from Tofutown in Germany, is new here in Australia and is the first vegan steak too! Tofutown’s products are organic and 100% plant-based. I, personally, have been waiting for the option of a faux steak for quite some time.
Each box has 2 steaks in them. Initially, they looked small but in the end we thought they were quite filling. They are not chewy or stringy. Perhaps a little dry but there is always an option of serving them with a nice sauce like I did. The recipe for Lemon Caper Sauce is below.

Note: DON’T be alarmed about the palm oil. The company has palm oil statement: All Viana organic products contain palm oil that comes from totally sustainable organic South American cooperatives.
Cooking instructions: They are wonderful pan-fried but they can also be grilled for 5 minutes or cooked in the oven for 10 minutes.
Serving suggestions: Serve with some steak sauce along with a side of roasted vegetables, salad or mashed potatoes.
