The reason why it is called Golden Duck is because the colour turns golden when fried. Made from a mixture of textured soy protein and starch and it is one of Lamyong product line called Vmas. It tastes very much like other vegetarian/vegan “Peking Duck” versions. We used it in an Asian stir-fry then I added the rest in a salad -photo below.
