Turkish Pastrami Flavoured Faux-Chicken

2/3 pack Lamyong Soy Nuggets, thawed
Juice of ½ lemon, freshly squeezed
1 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped

For the marinade:
2 heaped tsp Turkish hot pepper paste (home style if possible)
2 tsp ground fenugreek
2 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp ground chilli (hot)
1,5 tsp ground sweet paprika
1 tsp ground cumin (heaped as you cannot go wrong with cumin)
Juice of ½ lemon, freshly squeezed
2 tbsp vegetable oil
½ cup water
1 tsp salt

• Mix together the spices (fenugreek, chilli, paprika, garlic powder and cumin) with oil, lemon juice and Turkish hot chilli paste in a bowl. Mix well and stir in the soy nuggets. Marinate for at least 4 hours.
• Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a non-stick wok and fry marinated faux-chicken pieces until fragrant. Add a little bit of water to prevent from drying if necessary.
• Drizzle with freshly squeezed lemon juice, stir well and serve with chopped fresh parsley.
