This mature white cheddar variety used to come as a block but now it comes in a tube packaging, very much like a roll. Although the name suggests it’ll behave like a real cheddar and melt, it doesn’t. Still, it is one of the best tasting vegan cheeses around.
Apart from being vegan; Cheezly is gluten free, palm oil free, non-GMO, Kosher and does not have any artificial colours/preservatives, cholesterol and hydrogenated fats.
Mature White Cheddar has become my main ingredient in cheese dips. I also use it in salads as it looks like crumbled cheese when you grate it and add it to salads.
